·        Curriculum

Joshua Springs uses Bible-based curricula that helps students develop a God-centered view of life by presenting God's Word as the standard for all truth. The curriculum, taught by a qualified Christian faculty, allows parents to provide their children with solid academic instruction that builds upon the Christ-centered teaching that students receive at home and at church.

·        Expected School-wide Learning Results (ESLRs)

Using biblical principles, we seek to build up young people in four areas:

academically, spiritually, physically, and socially as outlined in our ESLRs.

·        Attendance Policy

Reminder 1: Only Three tardy excuses for the first class of the day will be allowed per quarter. ALL subsequent tardies will result in the student receiving detentions.

Reminder 2: ALL students arriving more than ten minutes late or leaving early from campus for any reason MUST sign in or out in the School Office.

Reminder 3: If a student misses more than nine days of a class in a quarter, the student will receive an incomplete grade and must repeat the class another year.

***Homework Requests will only be made for excused absences of three or more consecutive days. To request homework please call the office at 365-3599.  It is the student’s responsibility to obtain missing assignments.

***Pre-arranged absences may be obtained by having your student bring a note prior to the absence to the Attendance Office. Please include the absence dates along with the reason for the absence.

Parents may report an absence by email.  Include your name, the student’s name and grade, and the reason for the absence.

·        Traffic and Parking

Print this map to see the loading zones for elementary and secondary students.

·        Uniforms

All students wear Joshua Springs Dickies® brand uniforms.  Parents deal directly with Nunes apparel.   The Nunes traveling store visits the campus periodically for fitting and ordering, or parents can order online at the Nunes web site.  Purple Joshua Springs logo T-shirts are also allowed and are sold in the school office.  Please read the school’s dress code before ordering.

·        Standardized Testing (SAT-10)

Each spring, every Joshua Springs student, K-12, takes the Stanford Achievement Test.  The test results are compared with those of other students in the nation and reported in percentile.  A 50 percentile is the national average.  Year after year, Joshua Springs students score above the national average.

Our Stanford Achievement Test group scores will be posted here soon!
