"To be named the "Teacher of the Year" in 2011 was an incredible honor for me. I know so many great teachers, it is really humbling to me. Joshua Springs has been a part of my life since 1994. My son Ron Jr. was part of the original 40 kids that started the school. I saw immediately the benefits of what Joshua Springs had to offer as a parent. In 2000, I started volunteering at JS by teaching the pep band. I had never taught kids before and I wasn't sure how it would work out. What a blessing! I found my calling in life and have enjoyed it ever since. In 2002, I joined the staff full time and have been teaching computer applications and music classes. I have been truly blessed with each student I have had the privilege to teach and share my life lessons in Christ. Joshua Springs is a school full of God's spirit and excitement. Please join us!"
