Bloomington Christian (2-0) visited Lightning Stadium Saturday night and brought their "A" with them defeating the Lightning (1-1) 48-18. It was the worse defeat the Lightning have had since First Lutheran defeated them 48-0 way back in the first game of the 2000 season.

The Lightning, having only lost 2 games at home in the last four years, came out flat on offense and just didn't have an answer for the Bloomington Christian running game. Even though the Lightning were considered three TD underdogs in this game by pollsters, the team was really disappointed they didn't win this game.

The Lightning were not the only victums of the BC rushing attack, CSOD lost to them 58-25 the week before. That's 106 offensive points scored on the two best teams in the Agape League. That is very hard to do.

The Lightning will have to lick their wounds quickly and get ready for Riverside Christian who is coming to Lightning Stadium Friday night for what will be another big showdown of two top 10 rated teams.

The game will start at 7:00PM, the snack bar opens at 5:30 so come early and have dinner at the Lightning BBQ area. Remember every one wearing a purple Lightning shirt gets in for only $1.
