Lightning Football News...

Coming off a great come-from-behind win at Southlands Christian, the Lightning (1-0), will face a very powerful team from Bloomington Christian (1-0), this Saturday night at Lightning Stadium.

The Lightning beat Bloomington Christian last year at Lightning Stadium in a very close game, 24-22. Bloomington Christian came into that game favored to win by 4 TD's. This was a huge upset for the Lightning last year.

Bloomington Christian is looking to revenge last year's upset and are favored to win by 3 TD's. They defeated CSOD, The Agape League Champion from last year, by a score of 58-25 last Friday night at Bermuda Dunes, which is hard to do.

The Lightning on the other hand are hard to beat at home, having a 18-2 home record since the Stadium was built in 2000.

The game will start at 7:00PM, the snack bar opens at 5:30 so come early and have dinner at the Lightning BBQ area. Remember every one wearing a purple Lightning shirt gets in for only $1.
