Lightning Drown the CHawks 70-24!
The JV football team got their season underway Tuesday afternoon with a road trip to Wildomar, CA to take on the Cal Lutheran CHawks. The last two meetings the Lightning had with the CHawks the Lightning defeathered the CHawks 44-6 and 66-6, so the CHawks were looking rectify those lossed with a win on thier home turf.
The first half looked as if the CHawks might be able to pull off the win since the score was 38-24 at the half and they were still in the game. Then the Lightning turned up the heat and rolled off 32 unanswered points to win 70-24. This is a new JV school record for most points scored against a team.
