
Lightning Defense Stop the Royals 50-0!
The Joshua Springs JV football team is on a roll starting out the 2006 season having won their first two games in a big way. The Lightning have averaged 60 pts a game on offense in their first two games while only allowing 12 pts per game on defense. The two wins this year bring their winning streak to 11 games in a row dating all the way back to the 2004 season.
The game against the Royals ended in the third quarter by the 45 pt Mercy rule when the Lightning scored on a break away run to the end zone by........
Next up for the Lightning will be a home game against Riverside Christian on Monday, Sept. 25th at 3:30PM at Lightning Stadium. This game will be a real challenge for the Lightning because Riverside chrisitan is a much larger school and the team should be very good.
