Biography
2007 - (Senior) - As a senior Alex was a force on defense racking up 160 tackles and 5.5 sacks, setting a new single season record for tackles. Alex also rushed 59 times for 329 yds and 3 TDs and had 10 catches for 200 yds and 4 TDs. Because of his play Alex was voted All State, All Agape League and received the "Defensive Player of the Year" award by his coaches. Alex also received his 2008 CIF Championship Ring.
2006 - (Junior) - As a junior Alex only played 3 games on the varsity squad. Alex had 6 tackles on defense and 1 catch for 3 yds on offense. Alex came out late in the year so had very limited game time.
2005 - (Sophomore) - As a sophomore Alex played on the JV team that went 7-0. Alex had 45 carries for 238 yds and 5 TDs, 4 catches for 129 yds and 2 TDs. Alex also finished #1 on the team with 83 tackles and 1 sack on defense. Alex was voted the "Most Valuable Player 2005" by the JV coaches.
2004 - (Freshman) - As a freshman Alex played on the JV team 6-1. Alex was the top defender with 45 tackles and 1 sack on defense. Alex rushed 5 times for 16 yds and a TD and had 3 catches for 31 yds. Alex was voted the MVP of Defense by his JV coaches. |
