Biography
2007 (Senior) - As a senior, Boomer was a team Captain, starting defensive end and one of the rotating Tight Ends on offense. Boomer finished the year with 12 catches for 177 yds and 3 TDs. On Defense Boomer had 102 tackles (#4 on the team) and lead the team in sacks with 12.5 as well as had 10 QB hurries. Because of his effort Boomer was voted All State, "Agape League - Most Valuable Defensive Player" and received the "Iron Man Award" from his coaches. Boomer also received his CIF championship ring.
2006 (Junior) - As a junior Boomer was a starting tight end and linebacker. Boomer finished the year with 12 catches for 121 yds and 3 TDs. As a linebacker he also had 63 total tackles (3rd on the team), six for a loss and 1 sack. For his play, Boomer received an All Agape League award, from the Agape League Coaches.
2005 (Sophomore) - As a sophomore Boomer played as a tight end on offense and a defensive back on defense. Boomer finished the year with 2 catches for 12 yds and 1 TD on offense but he had a great year on defense with 52 tackles and a team high 6 interceptions.
2004 (Freshman) - As a freshman Boomer played as a tight end on offense and a linebacker on defense on the JV team. |
