Biography
2009 - (Junior) As a junior, Jono really stepped it up a notch and became a strong defender creating havock in the backfield of Lightning opponents. Jono was not able to finish the season due to a injury but still had his affect on the season. Jono finished with 28 tackles, 8.5 sacks (lead the team at the time of his injury) and three tackles for a loss and one caused fumble. For his perfromance he was name the 2009 Defensive Lineman of the Year. Jono will be a force to recon with his senior year.
2007 -(Freshman) As a freshman, Jono was a rotating RB on the JV offense and a defensive cornerback on Defense. Jono did very well as a freshman getting his share of carries. Jono was also a good defensive player and contributed to the two shut out games the JV team had this year. This years JV team finished 3-3 with big wins over Cal Lutheran and Hesperia Christian but had two losses that were very close against Upland Christian and Riverside Christian.
