Lightning Volleyball News...No.1 Ranked Patriots Beat the Lightning 3-0!The Patriots were very impressive making very few mistakes. Their serving was excellent. The Lightning stayed with them toe to toe in the first game and then lost it in the end 11-15. In the 2nd game the Patriots use some impressive offensive plays that caught the Lightning a bit off guard and they got behind early. The Lightning showed some good defense and worked their way back into the game but fell short 11-15 again. The last game was a game of frustration for the Lightning as they got behind and never caught up. They lost the last game 6-15. The Lady Lightning fought very hard and at no time did they believe they could not win the game. The balls just seem to fall in the favor of the Patriots. The Lightning were led by Amber Carter (#7) with 11 Kills, and Becca Millard #10 with 7 Kills. Joshua Springs is now 11-3 overall and 3-1 in league, their next opponent will be Victor Valley Christian next Tuesday in the Thunderdome.
