Pacific Christian Falls to Lightning 3-1!

Pacific Christian put up a good fight against the Lady Lightning before losing in the fourth game 16-14. The Lightning won the first two games easily 15-2 and 15-8, then all of a sudden Pacific Christian awoke from their scoring slump and gave the Lightning a good match the rest of the way. Pacific Christian won the third game 15-9 and barely lost the fourth game 14-16. The win brings the Lightning record up to 8-2 on the season and the best start ever on over-all games won to 29-8. The only 2 losses the Lightning have had came from Riverside Christian (2x our Size) and Yucca Valley High School (10x our size) so they are doing very well. The Lightning are currently ranked 5th in Division VA.

Top Player stats are as follows: Amber Carter (#7) had 22 Kills, 17 Assists, 9 Aces and 4 Stuff Blocks. She was perfect at serving 24 of 24 serves. Becca Millard (#10) had 10 Kills, 30 Assists, 3 aces and 2 Stuff Blocks. Tonya Carter (#4) and Amanda Higgins (#5) both had 6 kills and Tonya had 4 aces. Dani Rush (#11) and Brianne Jones (#13) both had 5 kills each and Dani had 8 aces.

The Lightning will be opening Agape League play this week as they take on Apple Valley Christian in the Thunderdome on Tuesday (Oct. 8th) at 5:30. The JV game starts at 4:30 so come out early and cheer on the JV too!.
