Lightning Volleyball News...  Lady Lightning Finish 4th at the Thunderstuck Tourney!The Lady Lightning hosted the 6th annual Thunderstruck Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, September 27th at the Thunderdome. This year's participating teams were some of the area's best. Teams participating were Upland Christian (ranked #5 in Div. IV-A), Santa Clarita Christian (Ranked #1 - Div. V-AA), Yucca Valley HS, New Roads Christian and the host Lady Lightning. The Lady Lightning played a total of five games. They won the first game against New Roads 2-0, then lost the 2nd game 0-2 against Santa Clarita Christian, then won their 3rd game against Yucca Valley HS 2-0. The 4th game was against New Roads again and they lost this time 1-2, the last game was against Santa Clarita Christian which they lost 1-2. Upland Christian won the Tournament, Santa Clarita Christian was 2nd, New Roads 3rd, Joshua Springs 4th and Yucca Valley finished 5th.
