Hopes Set On Playoffs!!!

On Tuesday February 9, the Lightning took on the Apple Valley Warriors, in their last home game. Lightning got the lead quickly in the first quarter, and kept it throughout the entire game. At the end of the game the score was 63-50. Lightning not only won their last home game of the season, but also their Homecoming game.

The top scorer of the night was Levi Garrido with 21 points, 3 assists, and 10 rebounds. Zack Ontiveros scored 15 points, with 3 assists, and 1 rebound. Erik McClay scored 13 points, with 3 assists, 4 blocks, and 12 rebounds. Brett Hollins scored 6 points, with 2 assists, 6 blocks, and 17 rebounds. Luke Stencel scored 6 points, with 2 assist, 1 block, and 2 rebounds. And Joseph Leichtner scored 2 points, with 2 rebounds.

The Lightning are very hopeful in seeing the playoffs, and going far. They have been fighting hard and are looking forward to playing Apple Valley again on Thursday. If the Lightning can win this next game, they can go into playoffs as the 4th place team. The game Thursday is away @ Apple Valley at 7 PM.
