Lightning Beat Victor Valley Christian 59-7!

After the Lightning mercied Excelsior October 23rd, with a score of 46-0, everybody expected nothing but the best from our boys. Thankfully, they didn’t let us down. We beat Victor Valley Christian October 30th with a score of 59-7.

Zack Ontiveros had 4 out of 5 completions in 115 yards.

Tyler Carlisle rushed a total of 126 yards out of 11 attempts. Zack Ontiveros got 2 yards out of 1 attempt, and Greg Lindblom got 1 yard out of 1 attempt.

Erik McClay had 1 reception for 12 yards, Josh Leichtner with 2 receptions for 88 yards, and Jake Ontiveros with 1 reception for 15 yards.

Levi Garrido got 6 tackles with 3 assists. Chris Barnes had 1 assist. Greg Lindblom had 2 tackles. Tyler Carlisle had 2 assists. Steve Henderson had 2 tackles with 2 assists. Josh Leichtner had 1 tackle with 6 assists, and Jake Ontiveros had 2 assists.

Erik McClay had 1 interception with 31 yards, and Greg Lindblom had 1 interception with 68 yards.

Chris Barnes, Tyler Carlisle, and Jono Sullivan all had a sack each.

Chris Barnes and Greg Lindblom had a punt each.

Levi Garrido had 2 punt returns with 33 yards.

Zack Ontiveros had a touch down with 1 run. Greg Lindblom had 1 touchdown. Tyler Carlisle had 3 touchdowns with 3 runs. Steve Henderson had 1 touchdown. Josh Leichtner had 1 touchdown with one rec, and Jake Ontiveros had 1 touchdown with a rec.

Lightning will play against Hesperia Christian Saturday November 7th.
