On November 6 th, the Lady Lightning went up against the alumni team. Both teams showed some intimidating skill, and the game was full of fun competitive volleyball. The match went to 4 games with Lady Lightning winning. The scores were 25-21, 25-23, 16-25, and 25-16. All the players had a blast and were having a great time.

The alumni consisted of Kim Trowbridge (M), Amanda Newcomb (RS), Jennifer Youngs (M), Rhiannon Housley (BR), Crystal Campos (BR), Ashley Vrooman (RS), Danielle Wysocki (OS), Katrina Pound (OS), and Jacquie Nicolson (OS). The alumni put up a good fight and proved that they could still play volleyball.

The Lady Lightning started their underclassmen and rotated in a senior for every rotation to play the middle position. Some highlights were amazing kills from Marcelle Allanbach (M), a game point won by Brea Polos (M) and Destiny Kieffer (M). All the girls did exceptionally well and had a great time beating up the alumni.

Coming up for the Lady Lightning is the playoffs on November 10 th, away against Lighthouse Christian in Santa Monica. Good luck Ladies!!!
