2009 Vegas and Irvine Tournaments!
The Lady Lightning Volleyball girls have been having a hectic schedule so far this year. One weekend, a tournament in Vegas and the very next weekend another tournament in Irvine. But the girls have been working extremely hard and proving themselves to schools a hundred times bigger than Joshua Springs. In Vegas, Lady Lightning took many teams to a third game and beat the Sundevils 2-1. This is quite an improvement form last year’s tournament where the girls won no games. The girls had a blast and made a lot of memories. In Irvine the Lady Lightning won two games in their pool, and moved on to the Gold bracket and played schools like Orange Lutheran and Corona Del Mar. To many of these teams the girls earned up to 17 points, proving that they can play with the big dogs.
